At The Green Crib & Kid we try to use earth-friendly packaging and shipping materials whenever possible. Most purchases are sent in polymailers made out of 100% recycled materials, with 50% of this being post-consumer waste that has been diverted from landfills. Manufactured in the USA, these polymailers help drive local investment in recycling due to an increased demand for materials.
These polymailers have two adhesive strips. After opening your package, a second intact self-seal is revealed so you can use this mailer for your next shipment. If you need to return your order, we recommend you use this package for the return. You can also recycle polymailers at a thin film drop-off, most grocery stores and big box retailers- no need to remove the shipping label. Want to know what becomes of your bags? Most recycled thin film is remanufacturing into composite decking materials.
To further protect your items, they are wrapped in 100% recycled tissue paper and/or flap and seal bags. The recycled content in these bags also includes the ink and adhesives. Our other shipping supplies are also zero-waste or made of recycled materials. For example, our stickers are made from 100% FSC-certified recycled paper and printed with water-based inks. These eco-friendly stickers are compostable and do not need to be removed before recycling.
